MY CAMERA BROKE!
now i cant post my drawing of the little baby bird i did ]:
i caught a baby bird a few days ago. my cat was just carrying it around, and i took it from the cat and brought it in the house. mom fed it some 'grits', like cream of wheat. mom never thought that would be the cause of its early death. well, the 'grits' swelled up in the little bird's stomach the next day, and since birds cant burp, he just kept inflating. and i was holding it, and the poor little thing was trying to chirp, but he couldnt, and he just kept looking at me frantically and i could tell he was in a lot of pain. all i could do was watch it die. then, he craned his little neck up at me, looked at me one last time, stretched his little legs out behind him, and his little life slipped away. i walked around for HALF AN HOUR looking for a little box to bury him in. all i could find was paper towels, and i buried him near the spot i found him. i had the image of the baby birn burned into my memory, so i drew a baby bird being held in my hand, with its neck craned up and its legs stretched out behind him. i thought it looked really good for being done from memory. :]
